THIS MARCH, award-winning storyteller Will Hornyak returns to KALA to present Healing Waters Holy Wells, an evening of myths, legends, poems, songs and lore of healing and renewal from the mythic waters of Ireland and beyond, Friday March 22 at 8pm. Tickets are $15.
Storyteller Will Hornyak has delighted audiences across the United States for nearly 25 years. A featured performer at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee, Will Hornyak engages audiences with imaginative, well-crafted and deeply moving performances.
“Stories have helped me to plumb the depths of my own life and find healing, vision and inspiration,” says Will, “for over 30 years I’ve seen stories speak to many people and predicaments. I have watched stories help to heal, educate, inspire, delight and weave disparate individuals into communities. I have seen that happen in churches, prisons, half-way houses, hospices, classrooms, courtrooms, board rooms, wilderness retreats, festivals and beyond.”
STORYTELLING WORKSHOP: For the first time, Hornyak will follow up his performance with a workshop at KALA on Saturday March 23, with Telling Stories Well: A Toolbox for Storytellers 10am – 2pm. For more info and to reserve a space contact firstname.lastname@example.org
