Gimre’s Shoes

The oldest family owned shoe store in the western United States. In 1892, Sven Gimre immigrated from Norway to Astoria, Oregon and opened his own shoe business. 127 years and four generations later, Gimre’s Shoes is still under ownership of the original family and continues to provide its customers with high standards of customer service. At Gimre’s, we’re a friendly group of shoe fitters who are expertly trained in the correct fitting of shoes, and are familiar with numerous foot conditions and problems.
