North Coast Writers Offered Chance to Read Their Works
Writers from the North Coast and beyond will be able to read their stories, poems, essays, etc. on the theme, “Views From the North Coast” during the Cannon Beach Library’s Writers Read Celebration on Feb. 28. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 17.
The theme is “Views From the North Coast.”
What is your view from the North Coast? What draws you here? How would you describe your connection to what you see?
Anyone, including residents and visitors, can participate. High school students can also participate in a separate Writers Read category with the same theme and same guidelines. They also will read their selections on Feb. 28.
• The theme is “Views From the North Coast”
• All written formats will be considered. Writers can submit up to three entries.
• Maximum length is 600 words.
• Do not write your name or contact information on the submission. Include a cover letter with the writer’s name, email and phone number with the piece to be considered.

A panel of judges will conduct a “blind” reading and select the entries to be read on Feb. 28.
