Did you know one of the longest mammal migrations in the world takes place just off the Oregon Coast twice a year? Or that Oregon is one of the best places in the US for land based whale watching? The Gray Whale is an Oregon feature many people do not know about. Join us to learn more about these incredible giants that grace the Oregon Coastline.

Featured speaker Amanda Zimmerman is a Naturalist with the American Cetacean Society. Her lifelong passion for whales has fueled travel across the globe from the Arctic to the Antarctic.

This webinar is hosted by Friends of Cape Falcon Marine Reserve. Our mission is to increase understanding and appreciation of the marine reserve, located off of Oswald West State Park between Cannon Beach and Manzanita. We coordinate education events and promote scientific research in the area through a number of community science projects.
