The second public information and input meeting for the Clatsop County Tsunami Evacuation Facilities Improvement Plan (TEFIP) will be held at 6:00PM, Thursday, September 16. This will be a virtual meeting and a link is provided below.
This second public meeting will include the following areas of discussion:
• Background information on the Tsunami Evacuation Facilities Improvement Program grant and process
• Review of Evacuation Routes and Trail Options
• Question and answer period

The TEFIP needs your collaboration and ideas! The Board of Commissioners declared September 2021 as National Preparedness Month. The TEFIP project expands upon that declaration and work completed by the County’s Emergency Management Department by examining where existing recreation trails can be incorporated into the evacuation route system and identifying gaps in that system where future connections may be needed.
