Snowy Plover Interpretive Walks

When

Event Type

Hello Everyone,

Snowy Plover Patrol is hosting interpretive walks at Nehalem Bay State Park to learn about the federally protected western snowy plover, their habitat, and life history.

We will be following best practices for physical distancing and the walks must be limited to 6 people. At this time, we must limit the walks to those who live in the general vicinity of Nehalem Bay State Park / on the North Coast. We hope this will be a great opportunity to learn about these threatened shorebirds we share the coast with, for those who call this place home.

RSVP is required. Kids are encouraged.

Please see the flyer below for walk dates and times, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions. (Photo is from previous year.)
