Each year, the Liberty Theatre welcomes more than 2100 area school children to see a fully staged ballet production performed by the Astoria School of Ballet. This year, in lieu of the field trip and the live show, we’re doing things a little differently.
During ArtWalk on Saturday, May 8th, between 3 and 5pm, visit the Liberty Theatre to participate in a fun scavenger hunt around downtown and win prizes. After the hunt, catch a sneak peek of “La Boutique Fantasque” (The Magic Toyshop), live on the Liberty stage. All participants will receive free access to the Astoria School of Ballet’s recorded version of the ballet which can be viewed safely and conveniently from home.
