Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum is pleased to partner with Washington State Parks’ Interpretive Specialists Aaron Webster and Stephen Wood to present a modified, online version of our popular Community Historian Program and SALTY Talks for 2021.
The program will be free to the public and will explore mercantile and industry history of Ilwaco, history of tourism in Long Beach, history of oysters and the town of Oysterville, and history of the train that ran on the peninsula tying all of the communities together.
Episodes will be 30-45 minutes long and will air on the second Wednesday of the month January-April at 2:00pm. They will be streamed live on the Museum’s Facebook page and then archived on Youtube for future enjoyment.
