The Astoria School District has launched a COVID-19 data dashboard on its website that will allow the public to monitor the status of coronavirus cases in district schools.
The district announced the dashboard in a press release Thursday, saying part of its purpose is to maintain transparency.
The COVID dashboard will be updated on school days by four pm. If you go to the district website you’ll see a link at the top of the home page.
Data available for the current week includes how many students and staff are being isolated or quarantined because of COVID exposure, including data for specific schools within the district.
