Join us for our first Environmental Education Arts Workshop with local HRAP artist Pooka Rice. Create your own jewelry peice using vegetable base resin and found beach debirs, plastic and other trash materials. Learn about the impact of beach plastics on the local environment and how you can make a personal difference while creating a handmade jewlery peice.
Student Notes: Resin takes 42 hours to cure. Participants will ahve a chociue to pickup their creation after class or prepay for shipping of item onsite.
Participants are encouraged to participate in the Micro plastics Filtration Event at Haystack Rock scheduled the day before class for Sunday April 15th or to take time gathering marine debris in advance of the class. HRAP will supply color palates of collected beach plkastics for those unable to do so.
All artistic levels welcome in class, beginner to intermediate.
All materials will be provided for class use.
