Berkeley author and journalist Susan Kuchinskas will be doing a reading from her latest novel in Tillamook. Kuchinskas extrapolated from cutting-edge science and technology to create Chimera Catalyst, described by one reviewer as, “if Blade Runner and Neuromancer had a Millennial baby.”
In this science fiction/detective novel mashup, a corporation is illegally creating human/animal chimeras. When Finder, an old-school detective with a high-tech arsenal, is hired to find beautiful and charismatic Miraluna Rose, he gets drawn into the chimeras’ fight to be recognized as fully human.
On Friday, May 18, she’ll read from Chimera Catalyst
