Friends of the Raymond Theater are proud to present stand-up comedian Gabriel Rutledge at the Raymond Theater on Saturday, June 15th. Doors open at 6 p.m. with beer and wine refreshments, the show starts at 7 p.m. and opens with comedian Mike Colleta.

Growing up as a child in South Bend, this is an encore performance for Rutledge after his popular show last year at the Raymond Theater. Rutledge humorously captures the absurdity of life and enjoys bringing comedy to the small town of his origin.

Touring throughout the United States and in Canada, Rutledge is the winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition and the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. Rutledge has also performed on Comedy Central, Fox, Nickelodeon and Inside Joke with Asif Ali on Prime video.

Pre-show tickets can be purchased for $20 at Raymond Pharmacy, South Bend Pharmacy and Pitchwood Ale House. Tickets are also available at Brown Paper Bag Tickets online. Tickets at the door are $25.

Rutledge describes himself as a mildly successful punk rock drummer, a very successful pizza delivery driver, as well as a husband and father-of-three. Rutledge shares his distinctive humor about the joys and frustrations of everyday family life. Rutledge has also released three comedy albums and has written his comic memoir, Happiness Isn’t Funny. Along with his wife, Kristi, Rutledge records podcasts that offer an honest peek at life and comedy as it is lived in the home.

Whether snickering, chuckling or out loud belly laughing, audiences enjoy the comic genius of
Gabriel Rutledge!
